Twitter is ablaze and racing rags have more material than they can carry.
Crowd favourite Lady Auriela out of Scat Daddy and D' Wildcat Speed by Forest Wildcat leads his pack of Royal Ascot US raiders. She’s placed first in 3 out of 4 starts and is a magnificent 3 Yo filly. At the 5 – 6 furlong mark she’s managed to run around the 1:00 minute mark consistently. Sir Mark Prescott’s charge Marsha is another exiting filly who is shaping up quite well. The Acclamation filly is determined to best her past performances as seen by the way she’s brought down her run time from over a minute to just over 57 seconds in the in the G1 Prix De l'Abbaye de Longchamp and 58 seconds in the Palace House Stakes. In her last race, she’s run with most of the boys entered in the King’s Stand Stakes, which gives her another edge over Lady Auriela who will be facing them for the first time.
Signs of Blessing out of the Sun Bittern dam, is a 6 year old Gelding, won the Prix de Saint-George in just over 57 seconds. Her mixed record over the length of her career, makes her a hard worker but a horse to watch in the King’s Stand. Priceless won the five furlong Temple Stakes (Gr2) in 57.55 seconds, beating quite a few horses competing in the Kings Stand, including Alpha Delphini, who came third.
