Barry K. Schwartz’s Papa Shot (Distorted Humor) is one of 11 horses entered for the Cup, a race that has also attracted defending champion Chrysolite (Jpn) (Gold Allure {Jpn}) from Japan and Circuit Land (Mizzen Mast) representing Hong Kong.
London Town has also made the trip from Japan, while Nimr and Skiperia will represent France. Circuit Land from Hong Kong and Papa Shot from the USA are the last of the overseas runners.
The home team are led by Grand Prix winner Triple Nine. Champ Line runs for Irish trainer Thomas Gillespie and UK jockey JP Guillambert. Bold Kings, Dynamic Jilju, and Shamrocker complete the field. This should be a nail biting race to watch.
