Sir Michael Stoute Charge Claims Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup
The Invincible Spirit colt, Eqtidaar claimed his victory in the Commonwealth Cup on the fourth day of at Royal Ascot 2018 by a half a length from Sands Of Mail.
Eqtidaar who landed the Group One sprint for three-year-olds, is trained by the winning-most trainer at the Royal Ascot.
Trained by Sir Michael Stoute who became the winning-most trainer at the Royal meeting earlier in the week
Under Warrington jockey Paul Hanagan, Sands Of Mali who had won the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock Park last month just couldn't quite reel in the winner with his late charge to glory.
He was a length ahead of John Gosden's Emblazoned, with Aidan O'Brien's favourite disappointing and he could only finish 16th under Ryan Moore.
