Derby winner Masar owners Godolphin, have decided to forego last week's Irish Derby in lieu of their Eclipse entry. The biggest threat therefore will seemingly come from Roaring Lion, whose optimum trip is suggested to be at 2000m.
Fourth at Epsom was Saxon Warrior, also ran in last week's Irish Derby, finishing third. The Guineas winners' recent starts suggests he may not be in his best form.
Then we have 2016 Eclipse winner Hawkbill, who was disappointing in the Coronation Cup at Epsom. He seems to have recovered in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot finishing third.
Recently gelded Forest Ranger, produced a very smart effort to dominate the Gr.2 Huxley Stakes.
Completing the challenge Aidan O'Brien brings Cliffs of Moher and Yutacan.
