Preview: Gr.1 St Leger Stakes 2018
Lah Ti Dar, Kew Gardens To Clash At Doncaster
We head back to the oldest racecourse in England, Doncaster for the final Classic of the Flat racing season this weekend for St Leger.
Adian O’Brien’s Kew Gardens is expected to shine this summer just like his namesake.
While exciting filly Lah Ti Dar will be the one he has to take on for the crown. The highly rated filly has had three unbeaten starts. The early betting doesn't miss that point and it doesn't miss the Group 1 winner in the field, Kew Gardens, either.
Kew Gardens stayed really well to win the Grand Prix De Paris and he backed that up under a penalty in a well run Great Voltiguer at York last time.
Charlie Appleby will be looking to upset the punters with his Old Persian. The stable has another credible chance in the form Loxley.
