There are no easy sprints at Sha Tin says the HKJC. And it's true. The 2018 Hong-Kong Sprint is going to be a 'hotly' contested race. 

Because Hot King Prawn will be the one to watch out for. The son of Denman has won 9 of his 10 starts and is currently unbeaten. 

We see some fine International raiders join the fray, including Fine Needle, who completed a Gr.1 double this year of Takamatsunomiya Kinen and Sprinters Stakes.

Other top contenders include Singapore's top rated sprinter Lims Cruiser and Pingwu Spark. The popular grey galloper has posted five Hong Kong wins at 1200m-1400m distance.

Classy spinter Sir Dancelot is also in the field together with Mr. Stunning who is the defending champion.

However, the contest is really between Hot King Prawn, Fine Needle & Lims Cruiser. Anybody else in this fray may not stand a chance ....
