D B Pin: The old rival, was second in Hong Kong Sprint in a fine effort. But he needs to step up after his second start following a long break.
Beat The Clock: Dead heated for second with Mr Stunning in this race last year and was third in the Hong Kong Sprint. Should land in the trifecta, after a runaway defeat of ordinary rivals in a recent trial.
Fifty Fifty: Returns to 1200m under Hugh Bowman but needs the big three to underperform.
Little Giant: Lightly raced 6YO was fourth in the Hong Kong Sprint and but has progressed well this season has to prove that he can peak again at Gr.1 level. His recent trial behind Mr Stunning and D B Pin didn’t see him sparkle.
Winner’s Way: Durable over this trip and further but generally comes up short. May not be able to compete well at the top level to win the Cup.
Born In China: This miler is supposed to be fast but may not be as quick as he needs to be in this outstanding company.
Styling City: The youngest in the group, is taking a giants leap in class. His rating and form should give Mr Stunning real cause for concern.
